Capsule 001: Onion Skin / Table Study
A bold statement in subtle texture.

Dyed slowly using discarded onion skins gathered over several weeks in my kitchen, these linens carry the trace of repeated meals, preparation, and daily ritual.

Each piece varies slightly in tone and marking due to the unpredictability of natural dye processes. These variations are embraced as part of the object’s history rather than treated as imperfections.

Onion skins release color slowly, staining water with warm amber and tobacco tones that cannot be controlled or repeated.

The resulting cloth holds the residue of process — heat, mineral content, time, folding, immersion — creating subtle variations across each piece
